Revision as of 04:22, 5 November 2011 by Kohkl88 (Talk | 2011 June 24 13th.Jul.11. (Wed.) 2305hrs. Went to TNB hq. at Melawati to settle the electricity deposit for the JMB P4D1. Stayed home until time for the evening walk. Actually went to the Popular Book Store to just look see for any new things happening or not. 15th.Jul.11. (Fri.) 2035hrs. Went to University Hospital for eye check. It is found that both eyes are very ok, the next check will be six months from today. Heavy rain prevented me for my evening walk, otherwise the day was just as normal. 17th.Jul.11. (Sun.) 2045hrs. Just came back from FH after spending a night there. The surounding is very well maintained now since taken over by the JMB. Due to lack of funds the buildings need facelift badly and urgently. 20th.Jul.ll. (Wed.) 1050hrs. Just wonder who was the first guy who used the word 'golden age' for the old people. How can it be golden age while the old people have to see the doctors so frequently for so many kinds of illness. In this month alone I have been to UH for my eyes, the dentist and yesterday to the clinic for the result of the blood test. Luckily there is not much of a big problem. Is that what is 'golden age'. It must be kidding?! 23rd.Jul.ll. (Sat.) 2130hrs. The good news is Lai Changxing the greatest Chinese smuggler is on his way home after escaping arrest for 12yrs by living in Canada. The bombing and shooting in Norway will wake up the Norvegians I hope otherwise they are very complacent and creat mischief to others from time to time. 25th.Jul.ll. (Mon.) 1905hrs. Went to Midvalley this morning by train. Bought some imported biscuits from Mark and Spancer. Went to MPH to look at the latest issue of the Chinese English and English Chinese dictionary. Didn't buy any. I already have a smaller version one. I am glad that Col. Gadaffi is still in Lybia, let the Nato nations that take part in the bombing of Lybia bomb themselves into bankcrupcy. Just don't let them win easily. 28th.Jul.ll. (Fri.) 0013hrs. Yesterday stayed at home except going for the evening walk. Watched the CNTV and surfed the net. Glad to know that the Chinese submesible ship can reach the dept of 5188m. The Chinese is also trying to outfit a aircraft carrier for training. It is better to be late than never. The KMT gov. in Taiwan is waiting for their foreign uncle to up-grade their warplanes as it has always been. lst.Jul.11. (Mon) 0430hrs. I am waiting anxiously to see what will be the US debt ceiling voting result. 2nd.Jul.11. (Tue.) 2315hrs. As expected the result of the debt-ceiling drama is always ended undramatically as any other issues. All that debates and arguments are for show only. More debts will be more troubles waiting ahead. Once it is in debt it is difficult to be solvent again. 6th.Jul.11. (Sat.) 2115hrs. Actually, there seems to be nothing worthy to write about. Life have been going on normally. The morning exercise and the evening walk is never missed. 10th.Jul.11. (Wed.) 1255hrs. Now that the flame is burning in their own backyard, so let us see how they handle the situation. Do you remember the torch grabbing for the Beijing Olympic, how gleeful they were? 11th.Jul.11. (Thu.) 2250hrs. The BBC is really great, with the riot in its own country it still has the time to worry about famous Chinese artist Mr. Ai Wei Wei with the title "Artist Ai 'felt close to death.' There are a lot of articles about their own social problems. So mind your problems before you laugh at other people. 20th.Aug.ll. (Sat) Wow! had been lasy for nine days but actually there is nothing fresh to write about. The whole world is bore. The war in Lybia is still going on, the most interesting thing is that they are not shooting at the human enemy but to the thin air. I presume that they don't kill but to make a lot of noise to frighten the enemy. They dressed in singlet and don't carry any ration or ammo. They don't take aim but just shoot blankly into the opposit side. You don't see any man or soldier being killed. The news from the foreign news agency is comical. Kol. Gaddafi's sons had been killed so many times but still appearing. The NATO has got another month to drop their bombs then it will depend whether they still can afford to carry on or not. 24th.Aug.11. (Wed.) 1240hrs. Does it matter who win, afterall the people who died were Libyans and the survivours will have to work to pay for the bombs and ammo given to win the hulaha - the Libyans. The real winners are the people who hid behind the screen. Pity isn't it? 6th.Sep.ll. (Tue.) 1005hrs. Went to Zhangjianjie (central part of China) for an eight days tour, from 28th. Aug. to 4th. Sep.. In between visited MZT's former house, his Stone Statue in Shaoshan village. I took a round walk and paid a three bows respect to the statute. The main attraction is the rocky formations in the park. Both of us climbed the famour 999 steps to reach the heaveny stone gate. The steps are just like the normal staircase steps. Quite a number of people who are younger than we are were scared to do it. From Changsha city to Zhangjiajie where the rocky park is is about three hundred over miles apart, along the way I was gled to see the new brick houses, the padi field was covered with golden ripe padi and various greenery. The highway is smooth and the whole length of the road is covered with trees and well-kept shrubs in the middle of the roads. In my heart I can feel the dynamism of China. Talk of Changsha city, it has a special meaning to me because it was mentioned in the book 'Defeat into Victory' by Field-Marshal Viscount Slim that the only victory for China from the long Sino-Japanese war during the WWll was in the battle of Changsha city. Of course this is only his own opinion. He was the commander of the allied forces in Burma at that time. 2011/09/10 Good writing. Interesting to hear your thinking. Aik-Siong llth.Sep.ll (Sun.) 1030hrs. Today is a very good day, it is cloudy and so it is not hot. It rains for a while in the evening but it did not prevent me from my evening walk at the Metropolitan park. Indeed it is a very good Sep.ll. It should be more of the Sep.ll days. 15th.Sep.11. (Thu.) 2205hrs. It is foolish to believe that the Libyans are free now, the real victors are the bombs and ammunitions suppliers. They are the people who will have the total free hands to set the stage for next episodes of events. episodes of events to come. 20th.Sep.ll. (Tue.) 2240hrs. The weather is kinder now, it is not so hot and humid. The North-East monsoon is already here. It rains practically everyday, either in the evening or morning. Well, life is normal for me. Knowing a lot of the world affairs from the internet. The West is in deep trouble with the national debts. They had been showing off with their luxurious lifestyle to the world with the borrowed money and now it is hard for them to pay back the debts. 22nd.Sep.ll. (Thu.) 2135hrs. The weather is splendid. It is cloudy and cool. Poor Chinese KMT in Taiwan, they are still at their old ways. They are jubilant at being able to buy arms from their old time uncle to kill their own kind. They even seek approval for their presidential election. Just wonder since when the Chinese had been so disgraceful. 27th.Sep.ll. (Wed.) 1120hrs. The morning is cool and bright. Last night was a dog-barking free night because the three young strays were taken away by the Bandaraya dog catchers. In Malaysia it is a trend that most of the Chinese households will keep one dog or may be more and that because some dogs are kept behind the fence and some are free to roam around so there will be a lot of barking going on. In the evening the dogs that are kept behind fences make speicial noises and barkings. I am a Chinese but I do not like to keep dogs because I do not want spending time to care of them. I want to spend time on my own. Strangely enough I did not see any dogs running around in the streets in China. Another interesting thing is I did not see any birds flying in the sky or on the trees even in the wooded area. I have noticed this on my many trips that I have been to China. I am sure you might have guessed the answer in my mind. 29th.Sep.11. (Thu.) 2333hrs. In the morning part went to attend the funeral of a member of Gao Assn. He died of kidney failure at age of 56. Watched the whole process of the space lab Tiangong l launch in CNTV from 2100hrs to about 2140hrs when it was announced that it is successful. Switched to BBC just to confirm how fast is the BBC, true enough it was there in its web site with a sourish head line "Tiangong-l launch betrays China's earthly ambitions". I do not really understand what the white men try to mean. But not a word is mentioned in the ll pm world news in MTV l in Malaysia. 10th.Nov.ll. (Thu.) 0920hrs. The day is fine. Went to JMB office for a while and went for the evening walk. Get ready to go to S,pore early in the morning by bus to attend the S'pore GAO association's 63th. anniversary celebration dinner. We have 10 members to attend. The S'pore GAO association was established in l948 before the separation and therefore it was the only association to represent the GAO clansmen in the then Malaya. My father was a member of the association. It is called Koh association because GAO is pronounced in Hokkien dialect as Koh. I remember my father was issued with a membership certificate and it was burnt when he passed away because it is believed that whatever belongs to him must be burnt to follow him. When I am there I will try to trace as to whether any record to this effect is still being held by the assn.. 14th.Nov.ll. (Mon.) 2140hrs. The 60th. celebration dinner was great, there were plenty of singing and the women section presented lovly dances. They must have put in a lot of hard work. Mum and EM spent the whole Sat. on shopping while I roam around the see more of the Singapore. Spent the Sunday morning to look for Koh assn. premise and finally found it. Spent about half an hour there taking some pictures and found there is no record of my father's membership. Went round the waterfront and took 4.30pm bus home. Worthy of note was Heng Jin donated S$10,000 to the S'pore Koh assn. that night. The joke was he asked me to announce it to the audience, instead I announced it as one hunder dollars so it was put right immediately by their president. 21st.Nov.11. (Mon.) 1950hrs. This evening is special, it is not raining. Went for morning walk because scared that it may rain in the evening. Went to town for a walk about to pass time. 22nd.Nov.ll. (Tue.) 2055hrs. Went to Batu Cave with mum, maid and Lip Wern and spent about three hours there and went to Kepong for roast-duck lunch. He wanted to go there to shoot at the monkeys with the toy gun. But then when we were he took pity on the monkeys and did not shoot them at all instead he tried to scare the pigeons and shot at them playfully. After lunch his mother came to take him home. By the way we took the train to Batu Cave and it was quite an enjoyable afternoon. It rained in the evening but I went to the Tmn. Rainbow for my evening excise for about thirty five mins. when the rain stopped at about seven. 24th.Nov.11. (Thu.) 2315hrs. Today is a fine day, there was no rain at all. Life is quiet for all of us. We went to have an Indian curry lunch at the Tmn Mastiara and went for an evening walk as usual. Mum is getting ready to go to Hatnyai with the Han gang because they feel that they should all get together once in a while. They will start going at 6.30 tomorrow morning and return on Sunday night. 28th.Nov.ll. (Mon.) 1910hrs. I have been living single life for the past three days while mum and maid went to Hatnya in Thailand. The rain is stopping me from going for an evening walk. Yesterday evening was the same, the monsoon rain is in its full force now. In the morning part went to Putrajaya by bus and took the innercity bus to go round the city for fifty sens only. The bus is going round the town to serve the residents to move place to place within the town. The town is well planned and it is kept very clean and tidy. Sorry I am still nor sure whether Putrajaya is a city or town. lst.Dec.ll. (Thu.) 2245hrs. Normal day wirhout any worthwhile event to write about. 4th.Dec.11. (Sun.) 0530hrs. 2.12.ll. (Fri.) Went to Machap to attend my grandpa's great grand son's wedding dinner. It was a grand dinner and we drove back after the dinner at 10pm and reach KL at 2am. My grandpa's son grew up with me but the rest of the family was not known to me until very lately. Last night that was 3.12.ll, went to attend Loke assn. 39th. anniversary. 7th.Dec.ll. (Wed.) 2240hrs. It rains daily but it does not cause big problems. Life goes on as usual. Tomorrow night we will be attending another assn. dinner to be held in a Chinese school hall at Sentul. I think this will be the last assn. dinner for 2011. 9th.De.ll. (Fri.) 1625hrs. No rain up to this point of time, it may suddenly start thundering and pour with rain. Went to JPJ with mum this morning and to the management office for a while. Last night attended the "The Federation of Malaysia Chinese Surname Associations" lst. annual aniversary dinner. It is the mother of all the surname associations in this country. I think this is a good idea so that we have a leader to co-ordinate and initiate all the conducive activities. 12th.Dec.ll. (Mon.) 2145hrs. Fine day. Read newspapers and surfed the net. Knew a lot of the world affairs. The EU seems to have agreed on the solutions to solve their economic problems except to see the end results to come. Iran seems to have the technical know-how to capture the pilotless plance from their enemy. I hope they really have it so that the super power can be checked for their wrecklessness. 15th.Dec.ll. (Thu.) 1900hrs. It is raining now so cannot go for a walk. Yesterday evening also rained but it stopped at about this time, it made my shoes wet when I insisted in walking. According to the news report it flooded the Bt. Bintang and Cheras area. So far the monsoon rain has not done a lot of damage in the country. 18th.Dec.11. (Sun.) 1700hrs. Cloudy day but without rain. Non-eventful Friday and Saturday except that we took Mei Wah and her husband to a Chineses restaurant dinner in Jinjang. We fetched them from EM's house and sent them back by train from our Batu Kentonman station after the dinner at 2244hrs because the train go straight from here to Subang Jaya station. They rang up to say that they have arrived at about 0hrs. 24th.Dec.11. (Sat.) 1815hrs. It had been peaceful and quiet for the past 5 days. Nothing special to write about. It has been cloudy but fine day. No evening walk for this evening because we are waitting for Lip Wern to come to celebrate his birthday as well as the X'mas. Strangely enough we don't hear any X'mas songs and music at all. Not like before we could feel X'mas is coming with the X'mas songs and hymn in the air. It is like the CNY without the firecrackers. 31st.Dec.ll. (Sat.) 0500hrs. Xmas had come and gone. As nomal we did nothing special except the usual turkey dinner with the family members only on Thursday night (29th.Dec.ll.). 3rd.Jan.12. (Tue.) 2135hrs. Went up to Fraser's Hill on lst.Jan.12. for two nights. The place is well maintained by the JMB except that the whole compleks should be completely re-white washed otherwise it looks terrible. It is not done because the unit owners are not paying their dues. Hope that with the present JMB's conserted effort to collect the dues from the unit owners, the resort will be put to its proper conditions. 8th.Jan.12 (Sun.) 2240hrs. It had not rained for about two weeks so the weather is very stuffy and hot. It is not very comfortable for our daily life. Life had been pretty normal for the last five days. 14th.Jan.12. (Sat.) 1045hrs. It is a lovely morning. It is fine, the sun is not too hot and the air is cool. Got up at six in the morning and went to the Tmn Rainbow's small park for exercise because I missed the evening walk yesterday due to raining. Surfed the net and learnt that the Euro crisis is appearing again and the situation between Iran and the West is very quiet. I think this is so-called the lull before the storm. 27th.Jan.12. (Fri.) 2300hrs. Luckily, went to Tmn. Rainbow for the morning exercise because it rained in the evening so it prevented me from going my evening walk. As I drove out of the gate a police patrol car was at the back of me. It signaled me to stop. I stopped and asked why, was told that my road tax has expired. True enough I had been driving without insurance and road tax since Nov. 20ll. I asked them to let me off for RM50 otherwise I will have to pay RM600.00 fine. So, that is how it goes, both of us benefitted. The question is how do they know that my road taxed had expired as they were driving behind me. That is the magic. However I have no bone to grind. Stayed home for the rest of the day surfing the net and reading the newspapers. 29th.Jan.12. (Sun.) 0250hrs. Actually I wanted to write before I went to bed last night but the internet failed to function. Luckily I went for a long morning walk yesterday morning because it rained heavily in the evening. Peter and EM came at about 1130hrs and Peter gave me and PP a RM1,000 ang pow each. EM had given the ang pows earlier. I went to lunch at the batu tiga coffee shop because mum had gone for lunch with her friends. Napped and stayed at home for the rest of the evening due to the raining. 30th.Jan.12. (Mon.) 2200hrs. Went to renew the insurance and road tax and spent the rest of the morning roaming the city. The city is still half asleep not until day after tomorrow after the ninth day of the lunar calendar. Beside that life is as normal. I went to the city by bus and returned by train. 31st.Jan.12. (Tue.) 2325hrs. Today is the nineth day of the Chinese New Year and it is the Hokkian people's new year day. Last night was their new year eve and therefore they let off a lot of firecrackers to welcome the big day. The noise continues right up to 2am. It rained heavily from 5am right up to about 6.30am. So the whole day was cloudy and the air was quite cool. Went to the JMB office to see if there is anything for me to do. That wraps up my day. lst.Feb.12. 2225hrs. 1st. of Feb. is the Wilayah Day and therefore it is a holiday. Dare not venture out of the area where we live because the city will be crowded with the foreign workers. Went to Batu Cave by train for my evening exercise by climbing the 272 steps up and down. It is crowded there because they are preparing for the Thaipusum festival on the 6th. of this month. They are putting up the tents, installing the lamp posts etc.etc.. Some early whoshippers are doing their praying before the actual date in order to avoid the maddening crowd. 2nd.Feb.12. (Thu.) 2110hrs. Tried on the sky-walk around the Jln. Perak area connecting various high rise buildings and ending up at the Pavilian complex and the convention hall. That area is newly built up area in the golden triangle. The sky-walk is like a big container-like structure built above the ground with air-con for pedestrians to walk with comfort. The rain stopped me for about half an hour to reach the KL railway station to board the train. After boarding the train it moved slowly with several stops on the way and when it reached the Sentul station the passengers were told to come down to wait for another train to take them to Batu Cave without any explaination. The waiting took about forty five minutes when the train came from Batu Cave to take us to Batu Cave. The reason was the train was running on one track because there was some repare work being carried out on the other line. By the time I reached home it was alredy four forty five. I was really dead tired. Had a bath, had a cup of Chinese tea then watched my favorite CCTV4 programme from 5 to 6pm and had a 45mins nap and had the dinner and back to normal again. 4th.Feb.12. (Sat.) 2130hrs. I do not know why I was so tired last. I was so sleepy that I went to bed at about 9.30pm. Slept well for the night and got up 6am. Went to the Tmn. Rainbow small park for exercise at about 7am for about one hour. I don't like the park there because it is small and the people there are all regulars so u keep on seeing them and the next thing is the barking dogs. It is really anonying, since the residents there are more well off so they buy bigger dogs so that they bark louder. It is status symbol that kind of thing. Went to the JMB office to make out a cheque for the electricity bill and after that went to Mamak coffee shop for a tea tarek and a roti chanai for lunch. As for the rest of the day just stayed home. Since today is Saturday so life is at its laziest point. 5th.Feb.12. Sun. 2330hrs. The biggest event of today is the GAO association CNY celebration. EM and I attended it without mum as she had other programme with her group of friends. I donated RM100, EM donated RM80.00 and Heng Jin asked me to donate RM200.00 for him while he is away in S'pore. There was quite a big crowd. The programme started from lpm until 3pm. Of course ang pow for the children is a must and the lucky draws and quessing games for the attendents were also arranged. The food were fried mee, fried meehoom, chicken curry and one or two other tib bits plus an assortment of fruits of course with the mandarine oranges. The party went on quite happily with everybody smiling away till the end. The next big event was we went round the lake at the Taman Metropolitan for our evening walk. It took us a solid one hour walk. 7th.Feb.12. (Tue.) 2125hrs. How nice? yesterday was Prophet Mohd's birthday, it was a holiday. Stayed home until in the evening went to Lake Garden for evening walk and had a mamak fried mee and mutton matabab for dinner. The maid was taken away by EM to help her in preparation of the NYC party in her house. Today is Thaipusum day and it is a holiday too. Went to EM's house for lunch on the left over of the last night party. After lunch EM and mum went for their own programme while I went for a foot massage. I was very tired and had a nap for about one hour. No evening exercise. 9th.Feb.12. (Thu.) 0705hrs.(Note: this event is for 8th.Feb.12) It was very crowded in the govt. clinic at the Kg. Batu, it took me three hours to see the doctor for my normal check up. The reason was due to the holiday on Wed. The result of the check-up was normal. The next check-up will be in four months time. 10th.Feb.12. (Fri.) 2330hrs. Yesterday, that was Thursday, morning went to JMB office to check on the clerk's performance. Received a complaint from one of the unit owners that a water tank from the roof top is over flowing. The problem was fixed by 6pm. This morning went to see Heng Jin and also to collect the RM200.00 that I paid for him for the CNY do held by the GAO assn. last Sunday as he was away from KL on that day. Reached home is already 2pm and what followed was a daily rutine for me.)
(Start Here Pa. 18th.Apr.12. (Wed.) 2230hrs. Went to town by bus to survey the Chinese writing brush and papers to practise writing the grandchildren's Chinese names. I plan to write their Chinese names on drawing papers myself to give them as souvenir when they come in May. Otherwise they will never know their names in Chinese. What the effect will ultimate imprint unto them is left to be seen. 20th.Apr.12. (Fri.) 2200hrs. Let me continue with the Colonel's story. Arrived home after a week's holiday in the East Coast, as our car stopped at the gate I saw him curled up sound asleep in the porch. I called his name softly but there was no response, so I called his name lounder, he suddenly lift up his head to listen and turned his head to look at the direction where the sound came from and lo he saw me standing there and instantly ran to me and put his fore legs on me with his tail waging vigourously as if he was embracing me and making the gesture of kissing my body. Obviously he was very very happy to see again. How he must have felt during my absence I could not fathom. It touched me deeply and till today I still can reflect on the scene vividly. 22nd.Apr.12. (Sun.) 1945hrs. A sunny and hot Sunday. At 1200hrs the swearing-in ceremony for the Gao assn. was held in a restaurant near the assn. building. The past presidents of the assn. were invited to witness the ceremony. Heng Jin, his wife and son Peng Guan were present. Heng Jin donated RM10,000 to the assn. Actually we plan to give him a 81th. birthday party but he turned it down by saying that he never celebrate his birthday, so he think that it is not necessary to have one for the 81th. birthday as well. In response to the good gesture he donated the money. The whole process of the swearing-in ceremony went off smoothly and everyone present was happy. It cost the assn. nearly RM1,500. After the lunch we adjourned to the assn. to hold the first committee members meeting for the new set of committee members. We set out the new tasks to be carried out for 2012. We decided to have our annual lunch to solicit funds on 9th. of November 2012. The meeting ended at 5pm. 25th.APr.12. (Wed.) 2135hrs. Have been busy preparing the statements of account for second quarter of 2012 for P4D1. Other than that there was nothing worthwhile to note down. The problem we have is the large amount of debts. Yet the relevant authority is not coming out strongly to help to collect the amount due. Well, there is no use of complaining. We just slog on from day to day to the best of our ability. 2nd.May.12. (Wed.) 1435hrs. Went for a 3 days 2 nithts tour of S'pore and Batam island of Indonesia from 27th. - 30th. of Apr. There was nothing great to see in Batam island really. Except the high rise hotels the rest of the town is just like the Malaysian kampongs. There is no luxuriou restaurants to cater for either Europeon or Chinese foods to talk about. There is no sunny and sandy beaches. So I just wonder what people go there for. For us we just want to satisfied our curiosity since there is a lot of reports of happenings on the island in the press. We passed a night in a cheap hotel called 81 hotel in S'pore The air-con. is OK, the bed is comfortable but the tv is with few channels and there is no place to put your soiled clothes and there is no hook or rack to hang you wet towel. The next morning while waiting for the time to board the bus for home, of course I bought a copy of Chinese and English newspaper each to read and strangly enough I found that they were so boring and dry. In the past I used to enjoy reading the S'pore newspapers bothe in Chinese and English. Now I think since I can get the news and knowledge from the direct sources from the internet, so what we can read from the newspapers seem to be out of date already. Yesterday was Labour Day, of course it was a holiday. Went to see the Chinese Navy training ship 'Chenghe" at South Port Port Klang. We were just allowed to go round the deck one complete round of the ship. It took us a great pain to have the opportunity to see it because the crowd was tremendous. I think this is an indication to the fact that the Chinese are proud of their ancestors' land although it is quite a small ship compared to the ones that are owned by the super-power, but the ray of hope is in the horizon that the day will come that the Chinese Navy will be as strong as that of other powers. 3nd.May.12. (Thu.) 1635hrs. I pity the blind Chinese dissident Chen Guancheng that he failed to relise that he is valueless for the Western propoganda that is why they did not send a special plane to take him and his family away quickly. 4th.May.12. (Fri.) 2325hrs. The weather is very very hot today. No rain. Let me tell you another dag's story. This time is my grandpa's black dog. His name is 'itam' in Malay. The time was when I was about seven and eight years old. I still can visualise him curling on the floor mat in the centre of the main door of my grandpa's house. He was a quiet dog he did not simply bark for nothing. The next thing I remember about him in particular is that he used to sit in waiting when my auntie poured the biscuits into a big biscuit tin brought back from Melaka Town by my grandpa because she would give him two pieces after completing the job. He would be happy to eat them. The biscuit was from the left over bread cut into blocks and put into oven again to bake them dry. My grandpa used to buy them from a bakery in Melaka. We ate them with black coffee for breadfast. 6th.May.12. (Sun.) 1700hrs. This part of KL is quiet, I don't know other part of KL is peaceful or not. Lately due to the gen. election is eminent so there is a lot of demonstrations going on. Now that the mother of human rights and democracy had gone home, so there should not be any more of the blind dissident's drama going on. The staging of the drama was very well planned. They must have hoped that thousand and thousand of supporters of the blind man would go to the Thiananmen Square. They spared no efforts to creat trouble for other people. 10th.May.12. (Thu.) 2300hrs. It took me three hours to go by train to Subang Jaya to bring back the maid from EM place by train as well. It will take as long if I use my car because of the jam etc. By train it cost only RM2.30 for the maid while as a senior citizen I got a free ride for three months otherwise it cost half ware for me. In the evening there was a big thunder storm raging on for about two hours. So there was no evening walk. 12th.May.12. (Sat.) 0515hrs. Woken up by the barks of the dogs at 4am and just couldn't fall asleep again. One of the annoying things of living with the Chinese neighbourhood is the barking dogs. Last time the noises made by the Chinese population was their loud talkings, loud radio music, car honkings etc.etc. When you go for morning walk you can hear them clapping their hands while walking. To me it is very annoying. I like to walk by myself quietly just to stop talking because people have been talking too much. All the troubles either big or small are caused by talkings. Comparatively the Chinese are more civilised now. 13th.May.12. (Sun.) 0435hrs. This morning the dog-barking is less. it may be due to the cooler weather. Yesterday we spent the whole morning in the PUSPACOM. This time the PUSPACOM is totally reorganised and it had really got rid of the corruption activity like last time. We will see how long it will last. We gave a farewel dinner to the maid who is going home after five years with us. We invited uncle Loon and wife, Mai Chin and her fatty daughter with her boy friend and the new maid. She will be leaving at llam with the Air Asia. 13th.May.12/ (Sun.) 2325hrs. Went to SS's house with the maid at about 10am. Proceeded to the LCCT at about 1100hrs. After checking in they bid farewell to her wihtout me. We started our journey home at about 2pm and stopped at Taipan USJ for some food as we had missed our lunch. Sent EM to SS's house to pick up her car and maid. By the time we arrived home it was already about 4.30pm. Had a nap for one hour. Thinking of going for a walk at the Metropolitan garden but the darkening sky prevented me for that. It was already about 6.30pm.,so gave up the idea of the evening walk. As we were preparing to go out for our dinner uncle Loon called and asked us whether we are happy to go to his house for dinner as he had boiled chicken(pak cham kai) and chickem soup for dinner. So we ended up having dinner in his house. It was a delicious dinner. 16th.May.12. (Wed.) 2225hrs. There is nothing to write about my psesonal life. It had been non eventful for the last three days. The weather is extremely hot and uncomfortable. The US $2b loss by the JP Morgan is quite a news. That is what it is said in the Malay proverb that "tupai pandai pandai l0mgpat, satu hari jatoh juga". That is good enough for time being. 18th.May.12. (Fri.) 1755hrs. Yesterday, went to top up my prepaid card for travelling in the Rapid transport system vehicles like Buses, LRT etc. at the Klang Bus Station LRT station. The Klang Bus station is being torn down to make way for the MRT station. Few other buildings will be involved and this has raised protest from the property ownners in the Sultan Street claiming that it is a historical heritage and it should be preserved as it is. I really don't know what is the real reason for it. I thought the MRT station will bring prosperity to the area. After seeing a lot of modern cities, KL is really a rundown city. 19th.May.12. (Sat.) 0000hrs. Went to PUSPACOM again, this time passed the test. So we can relax for another six months. Congratulations to the blind Chinese activist and his family members, they can now enjoy eating hamburgers in the country of its origin. They must be very happy now. Another thing that linger in my mind that I just cannot put it away without sayng something about it that is the govt. of KMT Taiwan is buying 66 pieces of the F16 for now and other weaponry to follow soon. KMT Taiwan is hailed as presenting the Free and Democractic China and it has to depend on buying arms to protect its while the mainland China is developing its own weaponry, that is why they have been blamed for not transparant and as a threat etc. So as a Chinese whick China you prefer? 22nd.May.12. (Tue.) 2220hrs. Sunday, went to Jln Pasar to see the sunday market and the Pudu big marke because we had not been there for three years. Monday, took Sung Fong to the veteran office at the Jln. Tun Dr. Ismail to see what he can get from the dept. since he left the service without pension. The govt is giving RM 3,ooo to the ex-home guards, Junior Liason Officers, and AC's and other servicemen who serve during the Emergency from 1948-1964. The answer is there is nothing for him since he left the armed forces much later when the emergency was over. However they are trying to persude the govt. to give this bunch of ex-servicemen some aid. To-night saw the footage from the TV that those potesters in the demonstration against the 20 summit held in Chicago is a bunch of timid, pale and frial crowd. I doubt there is anybody would care to listen to them. 24th.May.12. (Thu.) 1630hrs. Wed. Went to the Public Bank headquarter at Jln. Raja Chulan to change the new names of signatory for the Koh's assn. cheques since the President and Treasurer of the assn. have changed after the 1912 AGM. This morning went to JPJ to renew mom's driving licence. 27th.May.12 (Sun.) 1025hrs. Life have been very quiet for the last few days. This morning went to the Metropolitan garden for a morning exercise for about 45 minutes. Went to Tmn. Kolican for breakfast. As I surf the net everyday, it dawns to me that I am very fortunate to be able to read and write Chinese. I can communicate with my Chinese ancestors through their writings and carving or whatever they left behind to tell us of their experiences etc., and to listen to their stories in their own language. Through the CNTV I have learnt that the Chinese had not been totally sleeping in the last five thousand years of their history. They have the brain and a pair of good hands with which they can produce beautiful things. At this point of time the only thing the Chinese should do is to produce the war weaponries as good as if not better than the West and their have got.) ← Older revision | 2011 June 24 13th.Jul.11. Reached home is already 2pm and what followed was a daily rutine for me. 12th.Feb.12. (Sun.) 2220hrs. Yesterday (Sat.) went to JMB office to clear a bit of the paper works like getting ready the lst. qtr. statements and getting the cheque to pay up the TNB bill etc., in the marning part as for the afternoon it is the normal routine. Today is Sunday, stayed at home for the whole day except the evening walk. Tried to got to the Kepong lake garden for the evening walk but the traffic was too heavy so we turned back to our Metropolitan garden. So another week is gone. 15th.Feb.12. (Wed.) 2220hrs. Monday, busy with the JMB office for the morning part. Tuesday, went to town at 1044hrs train for a short break after remaining in the Ipoh Road for so many days. Asked the roof repair man to come to look at the roof leak at the P4D1 but he is unable to come due to his eyes problem, will come on Friday. Went to a coleague's house to discuss about the statement/ invoice of the lst.qtr for 2012. That had taken up the whole morning. 19th.Feb.12. (Sun.) 2215hrs. It had been quite busy for the last few days for the JMB affairs. AGM for 2012 was held on Sat. 18th. Feb. The turn-out was very poor. Today Sunday GAO association held its committee members meeting befor the AGM for 2012 at 2pm at the association premise to prepare for the new set of committee members for the next two years. 23rd.Feb.12. (Thu.) 2145hrs. Nothing special happening in the last three days. Had been quite busy running between home and the JMB office because the clerk had gone to see the doctor in the general hospital and getting the roof repairer to mend the leak in the block etc. This morning I went to the govt. clinik to see the doctor for my urine test. Two weeks ago when seeing the doctor for the routine check-up I told the doc. that the colour of my urine is yellowish, so he sent me for a urine test and it was found that there is a small trace of blood in it, so he told me to come again in two weeks time for another test. Unfortunately it was found it conatin more blood in it in today's test, so he is sending me to Selayang hospital for a X-ray on the 27th. Feb.. 26th.Feb.12. (Sun.) 0815hrs. Loving Sunday morning. It is quiet and peaceful. It seems that the dog-barking is kept to its minimum otherwise the first thing one hears is the barkings of the dogs. Yesterday evening went to the KL Sentul by train and explore the surroungding area just to familiary what is going on there. The area is developing tremendously. It is definitely going to be another mear business centre of the KL city. Due to the composition of the populations there I think it is really not an intelligent place to live in. 28th.Feb.12. (Tue.) 0920hrs. Just rang up the Selayang Hospital X ray department to find out whether the X ray film taken yesterday is ready for collection or not. The answer is that the printing machine is having some problem so ask me to phone again in the afternoon. The two days of medication and controlled diet (without solid food) before the X ray made me quite weak. Eatings after the X ray made me fresh as before again. Hope that there will be no big problem. 1st.Mar.12. (Thu.) 0435hrs. Went to Seleyang Hospital to collect the X ray film and will see the doctor today. It was a rainny day yesterday. In spite of the rain I still went for my evening walk under the shops verenda up to the Batu Village KTM station and took the train back. Luckily found an umbrella in the station when I alighted the train, that saved me from being drenched form the Batu Kentonmen station to the house. lst..Mar.12. (Thu.) 2310jrs. The doctor had seen the X-ray film and read the report and told me that there is nothing wrong with me. He asked me to continue monitoring my urine and see whether there is any change in its colour. So it is a relief for me. 5th.Mar.12. (Mon.) 2120hrs. 2nd.Mar. Fri. went to land office to pay the land tax for P4D1. Because I went by bus, so it took me the whole morning to finish the job. 3rd.Mar. Sat. Nothing special. 4th.Mar. Sun. Went to mom's friend's son tortoureous wedding dinner at Jinjang chinese restaurant. 5th.Mar. Mon. After the drinking and eating on the wedding dinner, it makes me feel uncomfortable for the whole day until after the evening walk. It is quite ok now. 8th.Mar.12. (Thu.) 0300hrs. 6th. had been busy with the JMB administrative matters like sending out demand letters to unit owners who owes the maintenance fees. 7th. went downtown to spend the morning part of the day. It rained contineously from about five right up to about 9pm. No evening walk. 10th.Mar.12. (Sat.) 1220hrs. Life had been peaceful and quiet for the past two days. The weather had been good as well. Its was cloudy. We are now ready to go to the airport tonight to catch the plane to China. The weather there seems to be very cold but we will make the best of it. We are ready. 18th.Mar.l2. (Sun.) 2235hrs. Returned from a week's field study of the Chinese History. I had studied it from the book when I was at school and now I went to the acturl places concerned. Qingdao was taken from the Ching dynasty by Germany at the end of 19 century and occupied it right up to the end of the first world war when Germany lost the war. The League of Nations past it to the Japanese when they split German's possession at the end of the war. The Chinese got it back after the end of the VWll and the KMT govt. let the American to use it as a naval base. It only returned back to the Chinese after the liberation of the enclave by the PLA. The second place I was most interested to visit is Qufu the Confucius's old home, Confucius Temple and Confucius Cemetery where only his decendants were allowed to be buried. I am fortunate enough to get a genuine white wine that is brewed according to the formula used by the Kong family. (Kong is the actual surname of Confucius.) We also climbed the Mt. Taisan which is said that only the worthy emperors of China were allowed to go up there to pray. Beside that we went to see part of the Yellow River that passes through the Jinan city. In a nutshell we enjoyed the tour very much inspite of the fact that our legs were swollen with so much of walking. 22nd.Mar.12. 2225hrs. Completely grounded by the flu for the last three days, only now I feel a bit better. Luckily I don't have to see the doctor but by taking two panadol three times a day. Hope that by tomorrow it will be completely OK. 24th.Mar.12. 1920hrs. Feeling much better today. This morning went to the Tmn. Rainbow small garden for some exercise. Other than that just stayed in. 26th.Mar.12. 2010hrs. Still feel weak after a week of flu followed by the cough. Yesterday went to the GAO assn. annual meeting plus the commitee members election. It went on smoothly as usual. One resolution is to give Heng Jin a birthday party in Sept. to commemorate his 81st. birthday as one of the founder members of the assn. I will head the organising committee for the preparation of the party. 29th.Mar.12. 2225hrs. Went to see the govt. doc. at the Kampong Batu for my coughyesterday. The cough really made me uncomfortable. So remained at home for the whole day. No evening walk no nothing. After taking the medicine, feel much better. Since the weather is fine so went to the taman for a small stroll 3rd.Apr.12. (Tue.) 1625hrs. 1st.Apr. (Sun.) Went to Melaka for Qingmin. The battery of Unser went flat in Machap new villege. At first we arrived at Jelutong but there was a heavy traffic jam, so we decided to go to Machap Baru to visit Ah Mok family. As we passed Machap Baru new villege we stopped at a coffee shop for a light breadfast. When we wanted to proceed to Ah Mok's house the vehicle failed to start. The local there helped us to get a machinic to replace the battery. We were really lucky it happened in the Chinese new villege otherwise you can just imagine. After visiting Ah Mokl's family it was over 10 o'clock and when we went to do the praying it was quite unbearable of the hot sun. We went our way hurriedly with my all the graves. I apologised for being late this year and we will start from KL earlier next year. This year we started off at 6.30am from EM's house while last year we arrived at Jelutong while it was still dark. 2nd.Apr.(Mon.) stayed at home after yesterday's hatic day. Through the CNTV I have learnt that the Chinese had not been totally sleeping in the last five thousand years of their history. They have the brain and a pair of good hands with which they can produce beautiful things. At this point of time the only thing the Chinese should do is to produce the war weaponries as good as if not better than the West and their have got.)

Start here pa.

11th.Apr.08.(Fri.)1000hrs.

Luckily I can read Chinese, if I hear only from the Western reports like BBC website in particular, I would believe that the whole world is going against China hosting the so called the Olimpic Games. Those ruffians and hooligans who tried to disrupt the relay of Olympic torch are nothing but a small bunch of disspirited souls. They don't even know where Tibet is left alone the history of Tibet. The white men still dream of the old colonial days when they were supreme. I hope the Chinese will go on with the Olympics with or without the boycot. At 1225hrs, I learnt from the Xinhuanet that everyone of those who join in the disturbacne were paid 300 euro $.

12th.Apr.08.(Sat.)The time is really 1215am.

Went for a morning walk at the Titiwangsa park because it was raining in the evening yesterday. I am really happy to find that the Chinese has won the battle on the disturbance on the Olympics torch relay. Their endeavour has really slapped on their own face. The tactics empployed are childish and crude.

13th.Apr.08.(Mon.) 0830hrs.

Nothing interesting to write about for Sunday. Stayed at homw, Lip Wern came to the house in the evening and had fried rice. Did not go to the park because his mother did not want him to excite himself too much thus he can not fall asleep at night. Oh yes went to the association for tea session and for a chat. Nothing spectacular to write about. The Olympic torch relay and the Tibet issue still occupied the main news in TV and newspaper. I am surprised to see that a terrorist who encouraged to torch shops and killed people in monk's robe can be spiritual leader. I think a terrorist is bad terrorist or good terrorist depening who he kills. If he kill the white men that is a real terrorist, if the one that kill other colour people then that is a good terrorist.

15th.Apr.08.(Tue.) 1830hrs.

There is nothing much to write about my daily life. Read the newspaper, a little on book, surf the net and sleep. Of course on surfing the net there are a lot of happenings for thought and conment. Of course there are a lot of happenings that do not bother me at all. I do not border on the issue of world food shortage because as long as I am OK why should border about the rest. My concentration now is devoted on the western plot against the Olympic. I am treating it as a drama from now on till the end of it. And see who will win. Up to this point of time it seems that the disruption on the relay of the torch has died down. Oh ya, mom and I had been to Tibet say in 2004 for a short tour(the normal tourist tour). Most unfortunately was we were not taken to see the whole city are or the farms instead we were taken to visit from one monastery to another to be told the history of Tibetan Buddhism. From what I had seen the Tibetan Bddhism is definitly not for me and I do not think that religion will ever give happiness to anyone who believe it.

17th.Apr.08.(Thu.) 1240hrs.

I am glad that the Inernet makes me more Chinese than ever before, because I learn a lot from the net that what those whitemen had done and still doing to humiliate the Chinese. As a Chinese myself what you expect me to do? To be on their side to humiliate my own race? To be with them just because they say they love freedom and practice democracy? They had been running the whole world during the colonial days, what had they done for the people under their rule? Now that the Chinese are prosperous and the nation in strong, so they are jealous and try every means to subvert it. Glad to see the Chinese all over the world is united to ward off the wolf in the sheep skin. They had pretended far too long. They are the angels of yesterdays but the devils of todays.

18th.Apr.08.(Fri.) 0915hrs.

If Jack Cafferty and people like him (the supremacists)from the CNN and BBC are allowed to slap the face of the Chinese in broad daylike in the name of free speech and freedom of press, why should not I slap their face in return by telling what is in my mind? In a nutshell I would like to declared that I am now totally converted to Chairman Mao's thought. I used to tell people who are close to me that if I can write a book, the title of my book would have been " I am sorry to you Chairman Mao". During the Chinese civil war I used to believe that Chiang Kai Shek was the man to save China to become a prosperoug and strong country. I used to believe the propogandas produced by the CIA and the western writers. Alas, how wrong I was. Mao Tze Thong was really the man who not only give life to China, he also save Asia from the imperialists and colocialists. His thought has given the impetus to people of the world who would like to save their countries for themselves. In Iraq they need a man like Vietcong general(Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap) who chased the French and Americans away from Vietnam to lead them to throw out the white invaders. 1265hrs. Learnt that China is building a naval base in Sanya, Hainan island at southtern most of China. It is a good news, let the whitemen do what they want as long as the Chinese temselves. It seems that the Japs like their white master express concern about the matter. The base will allow the Chinese navy to enter the Pacific freely unlike the base in Qindao which prevent them coming out without being detected.

19th.Apr.08.(Sat.)

A few days ago the Tibetan spirit leader was in US giving spiritual talk, it looked like everybody present listened very very attentively, what a bunch of pious people and now the Pope is in US blessing the people, what a lucky people who are so blessed. What rejoice me is to learn that China has started building the fast rail from Beijing to Shanghai(18th.Apr.08). After completion it will only take five hours to complete the journey.(the distance is about l320kms I really hope that I will be in the inaugural run in 2013.(I am now is already 76yr. old). Who care as to whetheer the prime minster of Britian, the president of France and the chancellor of Germany will be attending the opening ceremony of the Olmpic games or not.

20th.Apr.08.(Sun.)

Association lunch for the swearing in ceremony of the committee members for 2008-2009 at 1200hrs in a Chinese restaurant. The ceremony was held at 1400hrs in the association premises. The Olympic torch arrived KL this afternoon. The run will start from Mederka Stadium at 2300hrs tomorrow and ended in KLCC at about 1830hrs. The distance covered will be about 16km. It is reported that the Bangkok run was smooth.

21st.Apr.08.(Mon.) 0815hrs. After surfing the internet an idea come into my mind. The whitemen's freedom of apeech and democracy is simply "do to others but not to thyself." It means these western countries will allow the other people to come to their countries to demonstrate against their own countries. They allow the deposed ex-national leaders, corrupt officials and high profile criminals to take shelter in their countries under the name of fancy pretexts. 1345hrs. I love the Pope very much. He is full of love, he went to the Ground Zero in NY to pray for the victims of the 9/ll, (those peace loving people.) I just wonder as to why he did not pray for the victims of those innocent people who died under the American bombs in Iraq and Vietnam? Were they all people with hatred? I went to visit the War museum in Vietnam where one can see the massive tanks, the huge planes, the bombs and all sort of weapons used to kill the poor Vietnamese peasants and innocent population. Were they all bad people whose soul deserved to be banished to hell?!

22nd.Apr.08.(Tue.)0740hrs.

Actually I don't wish to be a bore, but alas, early in the morning the internet reports that city of Paris gives Dalai Lama honorary citizenship. Then I have to chip in again because it has touched on my raw nerve. Of course the whitemen like people like DL because he is in yellow robe, walk in a pair of worn-off slippers, with a little muttering mouth and always in a begging posture. Wouldn't it be good if all the Chinese are like that. But alas again, the Chinese now are equipt with Chairman Mao's thought and that has make it different. Sorry, I am now happy because I have left off my steam. The torch run had gone on smoothly.

23rd.Apr.08.(Wed.) 0915hrs.

Star dtd.23.4.08.(ed.) page N8. Titled - Dr.M:America causing insecurity in Asia. I would add that America causing the insecurity in places that are insecure to-day. His explaination is just the same as what I have in mind. Japan and south Korea don't believe in the US propaganda but since they had been historically relying on other big nation(such as China in olden days), so now they have to rely on the US instead in order to feel secure.I am totally bored with the US election. No matter whoever become the president of the USA it will be no peace to others.

Woke up at 4am and refused to fall asleet again, so got up and watched the 20th. episode of the "Norished by the same river", a documentary film on the Lancang-Mekong river. The river that starts from the foot of the Hymalaya mountain in Yunang provice and runs through Mymanma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The film took three years to produce with the combined effort of the six countries. The film shows how this river is being tidied up to provide services to facilitate commercial activities to improve the standard of living for the people living along the river. The facilities such as jetties or inland ports, safe navigations etc.etc. I remember of reading an article written by a BBC correspondent telling us that the Chinese was improving the waterway for military purposes and that they were messing up the ecology system of the regions. You know la, the white supremacists are good at critising and condemning what the Asians do without constructive alternatives.

24th.Apr.08.(Thu.) 0910hrs.

If you have the opportunity to invite between Dalai Lama and Osama bin Ladin to your house for tea, who would you choose? Without hesitation I would choose the latter. Reasons, you have to analyse the caracters of each of them individually.

If you are asked to choose which leaders between the Dalai Lama and President Ahmadinejad of Iran to be the tue leader of a people, who would you choose? Both of them claim to be fighting for the freedom of their people. The Tibetans under DL will not only be DL's clique slaves but also be the play thing of the Western powers.

I don't really sure of the date either today or yesterday, the city that is rampage with hooligans and rufficans has betowed free citizenship of the city to the DL. Why, becasue he got the capability to stir up trouble for the govt. It is simple if one can organise any riot against one's own govt. a Nobel Peace Prize is assured. The bigger the riot the faster one will get it.

25th.Apr.08.(Fri.) 1820hrs.

Hurray! for the moment the "free Tibet" gang has been silent by the Five Star flags waving patriots. The strangest of all is that the "free tibet" group members are mostly white bums. The poor Tebatans are too poor to pay for their fares to follow the torch.

26th.Apr.08.(Sat.) 0715hrs.

This edea popped into my mind that Prince William of Britain landed a military helicopter in the compound of his girl friend's house becasuse he wanted to see so much. I have been been thinking that how lucky China is without a bunch of parasitical people who only enjoying life without doing anything. It took China five thousand years to produce a person like Dr. Sun Yet Sen to have the idea of getting rid of the emperial system followed by the Mao Tse Dong thought that to completely rid of the feudal thinking of the Chinese people. Thus the Chinese thought is liberated from the feudal thining and feudal system marching forward the scientific thinking.

It is interesting to read from the newspaper that another barking dog of the Western power has been award with the Congressional Gold Medal, the US congress's highest civilian honour, to Myanmar's sarong wearing Aung San Suu Kyi. The only thing for sure if she become the head of the Myanmar government is election, buying American firearms, invite the US military and police personnel to come to the country to train the military and police forces and allow the CIA to establish net-working to monitor her neighbors'activities. To subvert the stability of the region.

27th.Apr.08.(Sun.)0740hrs.

This brief article may not be true at this point of time but it is for may be hundred years from now when someone is trying to find out what was like in a hundred years ago.

The threat to whorld peace today is not from Communist China but is from the ex-colonial white powers, this including the Japs from the Far East. The reason is these powers have had the sweetness of colonialism in the past. Afterall America's prosperity is noless in depending on the blood, sweats and tears of the black Negros. The prosperity of Europe is tatally plundered from the colonies around the world. Even from the profit of selling opium to poison the people. The Japs had seen that colonialism has prospererd Europe and they tried to colonised the East and finally got burnt and now is a vassal of America.(In Chinese it means slaves of no sovereign nation.)

During the cold-war there was the world Communist block to prevent them to overun the but now there is one really can stop them, so they are up to their mischief again trying to stir up all kind of troubles around the globe.

1400hrs. I am sick tired of the American election. I hope a riot will break out on the acquital of the police offices who killed the black bridgegroom. So we can see how the US police quell the crowd.

28th.Apr.08.(Mon.) 0950hrs.

I am really sick with the American election "wayang". Whoever become the president it will be sorry for everyone. It will definitely be no happy message.

Now that the free-Tebat episode has come to an end with disateroud failure, it show that how stupid these bright people can be as to pick this issue to disrupt the Olympics.

29th.Apr.08.(Tue.) 0645hrs.

What a pleasant sight of the Olympic torch relay in Pyongyang, North Korea compared to the scene seen in Londan, Germany, France and Japan. What a chaotic scenario it was. That is the difference between a well disciplined civilise society and an animalistic society.(In Malay, kurang hajar.)

1853hr. Brovo! Nepal sent back a US man for having a Tebatan flag in his pack on the way to the Himalaya peak where the Olympic torch would be. That is the only way to keep the torch relay going on smoothly.

30th.Apr.08.(Wed.) 1149hrs.

It is heartening after a long observation to note that the English educated Malaysians irrespective of racial origin are not swallowing Western media reports wholesales. The case in point is the Olympic torch relay and the Tebatan riot incidents.

Fifty years ago, the whitemen were rich enough to fly here and there and they were the only people who could write English news items and articles to be published in the Eglish newspapers. The English newspapers were also controlled by the whitemen but now it is just the oppsite. The ordinary asians and the English educated asian journalists can fly to anywhere to see for themselves and write news item and articles for publication in the English newspapers.

In short the whitemen now-a-days just cannot bull-shit like before.

1st.May.08.(Thu.) 0500hrs.

Will be bringing two aid-conditioners to be fixed in Alice's house in Melaka, so that whenever we go to Melaka we will be able to sleep in air-coned room.

When watching the WW2 documentary film I felt gleeful when I saw the allied planes carried out the bombing of the German cities, but now I feel hatred towards the US when I saw the craters caused by the US bombing in Vietnam It was pleasant to see the GI's in the film but now the Gl's look like a bunch of marauders in Iraq. They look cruel and full of hatred in their armoured vehicles. They are like the Japs during the WW2. When one Jap's solder was killed they would massacre the whole village but now the Americans will instead flatten the whole village by bombing.

Oh! ya! in WW2 they were the liberators but now they are the invaders and murderers of women and children.

Reached home from Melaka at bout 1930hrs. The highway was jammed with vehicles.

2nd.May.08.(Fri.) 0725hrs.

While in Melaka Alice took us to a Nyonya's place where Nyonya delicacies like 'kuabelanda(love letters in roll form), kuabaulu and acha so on and so forth. This reminded me of the old days when I was staying with my grandpa time. At that time I was a grandson and now I am a grand father of five children from my own son and a grandson from my daughter's side. I therefore have come to a full circle of human life.

If you ask me as to whether I would like to be born again, I would tell you a thousand No!

3rd.May.08.(Sat.) 1820hrs.

Since I have come through a full circle of human life, thus I am quite qualified to write something about nature of 'MAN'. Once I flipped through the Britainica encyclopedia I came aross a Russian philosopher who described man as worthless, weak and rebellious(I forgot one more item). Well, I will conclusively say that MAN IS BASICALLY A PEST.

Today, in the Chinese newspaper a mother and a woman appeal to the Ah Long to go the son/husband for money if he borrowed from them(Ah Longs) but don't come to them for money. I told my friend about the story and I told him that if this case happens to me I would ask the Ah Long to hire a hitman to finish him off on my account. Most of the men who borrowed money from Ah Long is for gambling, not for anything else.

4th.May.08.(Sun.)2140hrs. Spent the morning part of the day strolling town. Slept a while and then went to the Association for the weekily tea.

The Olympic torch is in Chinese soil now. Like one of the onlookers says, that the Chinese people and the Chinese government will not allow the disturbances taken place in the foreigh countries to take place in China itself.

5th.May.08.(Mon.) 1430hrs.

The weather is very pleasant this morning, cool and bright. And also the world is very much peaceful not much reports on killing in Iraq, Afgan and African continent.

6th.May.08.(Tue.) 1900hrs.

Nothing to report today. Everything seems to be OK up to this time. Typhoon killed 100 over thousand people in Burma. The boring American election campaign is still going on. In Malaysia everything is as normal.

7th.May.08.(Wed.) 1055hrs.

Went to the National Library yesterday and stayed there for about two hours. There was no much change except the new computer section where we can serve the net and enjoy some other services which I am not familiar with. I will spend more time in there since I am so free now. I renewed my membership after four years lapse.

According to the news reports, the Western powers are very gleeful now that the Cubans are allowed to own personal computers and to serve the internet. The westerners always have this idea that the computers can turn people towards their side by getting their propaganda by surfing the internet. As for me it is just the opposite, the internet had converted me fully to Chairman's thought because the internet allows me to learn what is MZT's thought. Before I only learned through reading a bit here and there. So you see this internet thing is a double edged sward really.

8th.May.08.(Fri.)0725hrs.

How gleeful the Western correspondents had been these few days, the Burmese typhoon disaster had given them so much capital to critise and condemn. The Iraqi war had caused more death and destruction but the Western press had nothing to say at all.

I am happy to learn that the Olympic torch had sucessfuly reached the Qomolangma peak. To fulfill the task aimed for under criticisms, condamnations and disruption is more glorious than rebutting them in words. That is how China attain from achievements to achievemnts since Chairman Mao declared the formation of New China on lst.Oct.l949

Let us not to believe what the white shallow minded so-called writers tell us the stories. They are just bull sitting for a small fees.

9th.May.08.(Sat.)0940hrs.

I think it is very wise of Burmese govt. not allowing foreigh aid workers into the country. Those white snakes will creat more troubles than helping.

The foreign writers and photographers are busy writing miserable stories for world consumption and the photographers snapping pictures of begging children, crying wormen and dead bodies to show the world in the exhibitions around the world and be awarded with all kinds of prizes and titles.

The BBC office in Babdag was hit by the militant rocket. You don't expect me to say that fortunately no one was killed.

10th.May.08.(Sun.) 0825hrs.

Mum's 70th. birthday party went off pleasantly. Everyone was happy particularly with Lip Wern who ran all over the hall, singing with the mike etc. It was a memorable night.

12th.May.08.(Mon.) 1840hrs.

The US and UK govts. are very very very anxious to so-called help Myanma with materil relief espcially with their experts. During the cold war time I would believe that they were really kind but now I would be very careful with their infiltration. They are fishing in the stirring waters man! Let us see what is to happen in the following days. Will they succeed with their ulterior intention or the Maynma govt. succeed in stopping them?

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. is being establised in Shanghai today hoping that one day is to become the rival of Airbus and Boeing. I write this down, so that one day if anyone is to read this will know how long the Chinese take to grasp the capability to manufacture the big aeroplane. For the Chinese is famous for their completing a task with unexpected speed which make their adversaries gasping with awe.

13th.May.08.(Tue.)1350hrs.

The BBC site is asking "why the Burmese generals deported BBC reporters", I can answer that question for the Burmeses generals. What are the BBC reporters,(for that matter), what are all the foreign reporters there for besides busying themselves with the miserable stories for their newspapers to make money.

14th.May.08.(Wed.) 1000hrs.

Went to the garden for monrning exercise. Lately I did not go there because I do the morning exercise at home and to Titiwangsa for evening walk and secondly I wanted to avoid being caught up with traffic jam at the Batu Lima village traffic light. Thirdly I was lazy to drive. Last time I used to walk in the morning but now I am scared to walk in the morning because a lot of the morning walkers had been killed because people now-a-days like to kill people for the pleasure of it.

15th.May.08.(Thu.) 1415hrs.

The foreign press do not have a lot of bad news from the Chinese earth quake instead they say that because the Chinese want to save face due to the Olmpic that they do a good job in the rescue operation. They don't want to admit that the Chinese are as good as they are now.

16th.May.08.(Fri.) 1840hrs.

My world today. The Chinese is still spare no effort to help the earthquake victims. The task is enormaus but tried very hard with the modern equipment. The Burmese is also helping their Cyclone Nargis victims under western press's criticisms and condemnations for refusing to allow the foreign aid workers in, in particular the US military personnel. The CNN has some sort of apologised for the Jack Cafferty's remarks about the Chinese being goons etc. I do not appreciate it at all. They are good at purposely humiliating you by saying what they wanted to say and then apologise grudginly. Well, that is my day today. I am happy after saying what I wanted to say.

18th.May.08.(Sun.) 0930hrs.

Yesteray, there was nothing significant event to write about. The earthquake in China. The Burmese cyclone Nargis. The US election stuff. That's about all.

This morning I am supposed to attend the veteran annual meeting at Bellamy Road. It is scheduled to start at 0830hrs. I think it is too early to start anything at that hour on a Sunday morning, so I absented myself. Afterall there is nothing happening after 30 years of retirement from the army except the pension. The veteran association is doing nothing for the members as far as I am concerned. The Malay members are busy asking for hawker licences and land etc. but how successful they are I am not sure. Those members with plenty of children may get some financial assistance. Other than that there is absolutely no activities that benefit the members in general. My GAO clansman association is more interesting. Even the Selangor Senior Citisen Association is laousy. After collecting the entrance fees, that's it, nothing happen after that. Although a computer class is being set up, then the frequent break down and the instructor spends too much time on his hand-phone make it unpleasant to continue.

It is reported that one western report complain that the reporter was not allowed into the earthquake area immediately after it happened and thereby assused the Chinese govt. is not practicing "freedam of press". What, which is more important,to allow the reporter to go in first or to allow the rescuers first? As far as I know the western reporter likes to know how many Chinese killed and how bad is the damadge so that he can send the news back quickly to be the first paper to publish the news, so that his paper can make a lot money. They are just like the vultures waiting for smelly corps.

20th.May.08.(Tue.)

Yesterday was Wesak day a public holiday. Went for morning walk and stay home for the whole day. We spent for about three hours in one Utama shopping complex on Saturday morning part of the day so it was a tiring day.

In the evening news, it was reported that the ex-prime minister Tun Dr. Marhatar had voluntarily quit UMNO. He accused that UMNO has lost the support of the Malays because UMNO is weak and not fighting for the Malays. He blamed the present President of UMNO is the main reason for it. Well, as far as I am concerned UMNO has been rotting within itself long before this.

The second item need writting about is the concerns for the victims of the Cyclon Nargis expressed by the Western Powers is so intense, I wonder why they love the Burmese so much? The most spectacular scence is that most of the staff in the so called relief centres are manned by the white men and women and they are makeing all sort of complains.

21st.May.08.(Wed.)

So far no mass resignation of UMNO members as exhorted by the Tun Dr.M. At least majority of the members and leaders are supporting the present UMNO President-Pak Lah.

22nd.May.08.(Thu.) 1845hrs.

Strangely enough there seem to be no big events happening to-day. Quiet in all fronts. Nobody is porking nobody. Is it the lull before the storm?

China is recovering from the earthquake. (I think it is a great dispointment to the Western media who expected to have a lot of negative stories to write about.)I hope the Chinese all over the world will be more cohesive and more progressive.

24th.May.08.(Sat.) 1750hrs.

Nothing to report, the same old thing. My daily life is just as happy as ever. This morning went to the Lip Wern's school to see him taking part in sports. After two years in school he seems to know what he is expected to do. The last sport day he seemed to just follow what he boy in front of him without knowing what was happening.

27th.May.08.(Tue.) 0750hrs.

I think I want to stop writing about the Western rporters' reports on certain subjects and the Western media because it will be an endless process and it is waste of time and spoil my mood. It is suffice to say that the Westerners has no good things for anybody, they are out to stir trouble for their own benefit. Their media is a kind of weapon to usurp the peace of the world and attack in all fronts, culturally, economically, militarily and politically and the ultimation is the extermination of your race like what they have done to the Red Indians.

I want to keep this as a historical record of event in my life that is the best film that had been produced in America is the plane that smashed into the Worl Trade Centre in NY. The joy of seeing it is overwhelming for words to describe.

29th.May.08.(Thu.)2045hrs.

Came back from Fraser Hills about one hour ago. Passed a night there, enjoyed the quietness and the fresh sir and the cool breeze. Internet is available there now if we bring our own lap-top both in Pine resort and the Silver Park. Currently the massive renovation is being carried out. It is estimated that it be completed by Dec. of 2008.

30th.May.08.(Fri.) 0855hrs.

It is a bright and cool morning after a cloudy and raining yesterday. If the weather is always like this then Malay Penensular would be a dieal place to live in besides its political and racial considerations.

In the last four or five days I have had gout on my right ankle and purge on last two days, so I felt weak and unhappy. Went to the Govt. clinic but they gave me only pain killer which did not help then I went to see Dr. Lian who gave me a jab, pills for gout and pain killer that did it.

2nd.Jun.08.(Mon.) 0825hrs.

No significant events that affect my personal life to write about. An uneventful Saturday passed by. Yesterday, a Sundaym, went to the Assn. for parents day celebration. It was a pleasant do. We had a lot of tip-bits to eat and children programmes to enjoy. At eight o'clock night went to the "P4D1 JOINT MANAGEMENT BODY" meeting. This body is being formed to look after our own block os building instead of the Developer of the estate. Otherwise life is pleasant.

7th.Jun.08.(Sat.) 1250hrs.

Weithout realising it four days has elapsed. This is because I do not intend to be critical with anything. I just don't care. There are so many cronic things happening everyday so why bother, as long as I am ok why bother?!

My daily life goes on as normal. Eat, sleep, exercise, surfing the net, read the English and Chinese newspapers plus the David Copperfield.
