Ingredients
1 four pound chicken
2-3 inches ginger
3 cloves garlic
3 spring onion
12 cups water
2 T sesame oil
3 T soy sauce
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 more clove garlic
1 t cornstarch

Prep
Clean chicken.
Crush ginger, 3 garlic, and spring onion.
Mince the last garlic.

Cook
Place chicken, water, ginger, spring onion, and crushed garlic in a large pot.
Bring to a boil and simmer till chicken is done. (approx. 40-50 minutes)
When chicken is done plunge it into a bowl of ice water for five minutes.
Remove and cut.
Heat sesame oil in a small pot.
Add minced garlic and fry till it starts to brown.
Add soy sauce and chicken broth.
Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons cold water.
Add to sauce and let it boil.
Pour over cut chicken.
Serve hot or cold with rice and remaining chicken soup.
