Ingredients
2 lb sliced beef flank or roast
6 inches of ginger
6 spring onions
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons cooking sherry
4 tablespoons oil
4 cups water

Prep
Slice the ginger into sticks.
Cut the spring onions into 5 cm pieces.

Cooking
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Add half of ginger and onion to pan. When ginger is turning brown add half the beef. When beef is no longer pink on the outside add 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Cook for about twenty minutes or until beef is done. Add sherry and spring onions and cook for 30 more seconds. Repeat all of the above for second batch. 2 pounds of beef serve about six people. Serve hot on rice.
