Ingredients
1 whole chicken
5 potatoes
1/2 cup of thick soy sauce
6 tablespoons molasses
1 onions
4 tablespoons oil

Prep
Slice onion thinly.
Cut chicken into reasonable sized pieces.
Wash and chop potatoes into reasonable cubes.

Cook
Heat half the oil in a large wok or pot.
When hot add half the onion and fry till translucent.
Add half the molasses and half the chicken.
Add potatoes, fry till everything is slightly cooked and covered in molasses.
Add enough water to cover the chicken mixture.
Also add 1/4 cup of the soy sauce.
Cover and bring to a boil.
When it boils turn down to a simmer and cook 40 minutes to an hour.
When done cook the other half of the ingredients the same way unless you cooked them at the same time. Serve hot with rice.
